Traditional Japanese matcha sieve. Matcha powder clumps easily; sifted through a chakoshi before preparing, it becomes fine and even, dissolves completely and is easier to whisk with the bamboo whisk into a velvety, lump-free drink. It has a long handle and rests comfortably over the bowl or storage container.
